DULUTH, MN (Northern News Now) – A new development broke ground in downtown Duluth on Friday, promising hundreds of housing units in the neighborhood.
The Lakeview 333 apartment building will stand 15 stories tall on the corner of Superior Street and 4th Avenue East.
The Lakeview plans to open in Fall 2025, adding 210 housing units to downtown. Madison-based Landmark Development is heading the project.
The $87 million project will include ground-floor commercial space for the public.
To make room for the Lakeview project, three buildings were demolished back in 2021, including the Voyageur Lakewalk Inn.
Titanium Partners was previously leading the project, but Landmark Development purchased the property in 2021 and took over full ownership.
